DPR gives helping hand to local Boys & Girls Club

Savannah Morning News / March 2, 2017

DPR Construction employees rolled up their sleeves on Saturday to help update and renovate The Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club. In addition to the day of service, employees presented a $1,500 donation to the club.

Fifteen DPR employees donated their time and skills to complete a variety of tasks ranging from the construction of new shelving and cabinets, to painting and bathroom renovation work. The outreach from DPR is part of a long tradition of giving back to the communities in which they work, and the company actively seeks opportunities to contribute meaningful volunteer time in addition to financial support.

We are thrilled to be able to participate in this service project with the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club,” said Darryl Strunk, project executive with DPR. “Our teams really enjoy hands-on volunteerism and working together to make our community stronger. We believe that the personal connections we make build a strong foundation for a lasting relationship.”
